I don’t have much to say about this except that I can make the yummiest homemade taco seasoning without any questionable ingredients in just a few minutes and have it on hand any ol’ time I need it. I used to be sold on a particular name brand. No more. I make a container of this and keep it in my spice cupboard and use it very frequently. Feel free to adjust the red pepper to your level of spice tolerance. Here’s all you need…
4 T. chili powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. crushed red pepper
2 tsp. paprika
6 tsp. cumin
4 tsp. salt
4 tsp. pepper
Makes 4 ounces.
Mix well and add by Tablespoonful to desired taste in ground beef or chicken for tacos or make Baby Burritos or enchiladas or meat for nachos or any recipe calling for taco seasoning. Add some Real Deal Refried Beans and you’ll wonder where they’ve been your whole life!
