Charcuterie boards are everywhere these days, but as a lover of beautiful food presentation, I still can’t get enough of them. I’ve made them for weddings and nice dinners. I’ve utilized them for appetizers and now breakfast! I had such a fun time making this one for our dear friends on a weekend getaway at their cabin. We take turns making meals and to this one, I added my Cheesy Sausage Breakfast Braid which is the perfect make-ahead, as the main course.
Pick and choose your favorite fruits. Utilize your local bakery if you don’t have time to make mini danishes or cinnamon rolls. Use doughnut holes if you have some you love! I made silver dollar pancakes and had raspberry maple syrup as well as regular pure maple syrup. You could easily use mini waffles or toast squares with little bowls of yummy jams and jellies! Add breakfast links or pieces of ham or bacon if you’d like! Options are the essence of a great charcuterie. Just have fun with it and see what you come up with! Probably just the best way to play with your food. :o)

Alison's recipe has become our claim to fame—standing strong as the Most Pinned Mac & Cheese Recipe on Pinterest.
