1.5 pounds of little smokies
1 lb. bacon
⅓ c. brown sugar
⅓ c. pure maple syrup
1 T. brown or spicy whole grain mustard
pinch of cayenne
Here's how...
Cut the raw bacon into fourths.
Wrap a piece of bacon around each little smoky and set them onto a rimmed cookie sheet that has been lined with foil.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
To make the glaze, in a saucepan warm the brown sugar, brown sugar, maple syrup, brown mustard and cayenne pepper. Whisk and heat until combined.
Drizzle the glaze over each bacon wrapped smoky.
Bake for 35 minutes.
Put under the broiler to crisp the bacon -- watch closely1
Serve warm.
